Remember me to one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine.
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Without no seams nor needlework, then she’ll be a true love of mine.
Tell her to find me an acre of land, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Between the salt water and the sea strand, then she’ll be a true love of mine.
Tell her to reap it in a sickle of leather, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
And to gather it all in a bunch of heather, then she’ll be a true love of mine.
Are you goin to scarborough fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine.

24th December
Went to Dear's house to celebrate~
Helped out in the kitchen; met many of her cousins..
In total, 34 people squeezed into her home!
Friends; family all packed into one big happy clump.
Her younger sis taught me the piano for awhile =)
I fell in love with a piece called 'Scarborough Fair'.
One of my favourites of all time!
Since they've already got a piano, their keyboard isn't in use.
I'm going to borrow it! Once the plug is fixed~
Wire's loose and it'll make cackling sounds when switched on O_o.
But gosh am I excited! =D

25th December
Christmas Day!
Went to West Coast for activities~
Tried my hand at kite flying, and failed terribly due to 0 wind factor..
Played a lil volleyball~
Tossed the frisbee around for a lil bit~
Ended activites with food from the picnic basket, then went to IMM's Daiso to shop.

26th December
Fun's over.
Went back to school to do FYP alone.
No point asking others along, since now everyone is allocated with their own stuff.
Found out I left the OMNIA cable back at home =.=
Didn't test out the software, but worked a lil on the report.
Listened to Scarborough Fair on youtube and felt myself swaying lols~
Hit the arcade with Dear after dinner at PS.
Photo Hunt is really fun =D

~*~*~* YES MAN YES MAN *~*~*~
That mother fucking son of a bitch blared past me even though it was a red light and the green man was flashing!
There I was, in the middle of the road when I saw the headlights approaching at 100kph. At least.
It was as though I was rooted to the ground.
I couldn't move forward nor backwards.
All I could do was stand paralysed, wondering if the car was going to hit me..
I thought human instinct would take over and I would hurl myself out of harm's way but no, it never happened.
They say your life flashes past your eyes right before you die.
Well, since I didn't 'see' anything, maybe it was a sign my time wasn't up yet.
*** ***
Someone else's time was up though.
Less than a hundred metres behind the spot I stood, someone committed suicide by jumping off a block.
The area was roped off and you could see a white sheet covering the body..
Police were buzzing around; lots of nosey people were peering out of their windows.
Imagine if I were to get hit... the police would have a field day.
2 different deaths in the same neighbourhood at the same time.
The Reaper must be roaming the streets shopping for his X'mas gifts..
Perhaps there wasn't a discount on my head and he placed me back on the shelf =/
*** ***
Of all the terrible gifts I received, this has got to be the icing on the cake.
I almost celebrated Christmas in a coffin..
Nice cross reference to the recent vampire movie Twilight..
Except they didn't sleep in coffins~
*** ***
What else could go wrong this holiday?
~*~*~* Less than a metre to death *~*~*~
Cause giving is always better than receiving~
When you finally present your present to the receipient, you'll have a great sense of satisfaction, knowing you've spent time finding something you think is meaningful and wonderful.
*** ***
For years now, I've spent Saturdays at my gran's place.
Usually, on the Saturday before X'mas week, we'll hand out gifts.
My mom's always at a loss, thinking about what to get for my 9 cousins.
This year, to simplify everything, she got all of them those cake/ice cream looking towels.
I too received 4 gifts, 1 from each of my uncles.
Doesn't help that my eldest guy and girl cousins are 14 and 11 respectively.
Not that I don't appreciate their gesture.. I do!
It's the thought that counts, right?
But seriously... you'd expect me to wear clothes from the children's department?
Or carry a water bottle?
Or find a use for a USB port cup heater?
Sigh... maybe I'll start reading my last gift. A book to better understand army life.
*** ***
There isn't any joy in opening gifts now.
You'll just go "oh", and throw them aside.
The greatest fun my cousins have is comparing who got the worst gift.
Nice Christmas spirit eh?
Know it's hard finding something right, but cmon~!
A pen.
A keychain.
A pair of socks.
A bag of marshmellows for me to roast in front of a fireplace (if I had 1).
Anything of use in my everyday life, I'd appreciate it so much better...
*** ***
Now you see why giving is always better than receiving.
Salvation army, here I come~
*** ***
Just talk and perceive, and you'll get the answer. Hopefully.
~*~*~* Green is best *~*~*~
For the first time in a long time, I find mysef in club, rushing on FYP cause it's due Monday.
With Dan's help and my procrastiation, we managed to load GoogleMap into the PDA yesterday.
However, it requires internet connection to run load coordinates =/
So here I am now, working on an offline version by cache-ing maps.
Tried generating a map with zoom level 18.
Guess how many tiles, or pictures, it needs?
84176 GOD DAMNED TILES WTF?!
At 100kb per tile, I'll need 8gb worth of pictures to work an offline map...
Gosh!
Currently generating the maps on a 17 zoom level.
Around 10000+ tiles, but it should work~
Waiting for them... yawnz~ I wanna sleep..

Hmm... school.
FYP meeting went pretty smoothly~
I did some improvements on the TTS too.
Only sad thing is AGIS refusing to cooperate with us..
Under their terms and conditions, in the middle paragraph, they clearly stated "You may modify or merge this program into another program".
And now they tell us they can't release their code or whatever rubbish..
Wanted to quote their own words and shoot it back in their faces but since Christmas is approaching, I'll let you off..
Better hope we find something else soon though...

Went with Dan to Bugis to shop for his hoodie afterwards~
Toured Bugis Street but found nothing; ended up buying one at Samuel and Kelvin.

'Match Point' was one of those movies I watched.
It really captures the reality of life..

Treasure and cherish those around you, as if you'll lose them tomorrow.
We may all have heard this saying but yet, how often have we acted upon it?
It is by human nature to take things for granted.
Study 'Human Factors', and the term 'norm' comes to mind..
But with Christmas just round the corner, let the spirit of love take over~

Shopped for gifts and walked around Orchard for a bit, until the downpour arrived.
Stranded, so we left for vivo~
Stopped at Ajisen's for an early dinner, before going on more shopping~
Quite fun, actually, though I used to hate it few years back...
Guess I've changed a little =)
When all was done, we headed outside to view the X'mas decorations~

Stopped at bunk to watch Dan play for awhile.

When Dear arrived, we left to have dinner.
Sent her to school to watch some hiphop concert in the Convention Hall~
Her friend asked if I wanted to buy tickets to watch with them..
Ha ha ha... hiphop? Me? Sorry~

With my mom though - she needed to buy those little gifts for my cousins~
Had lunch with gramps, gran, and relatives at Centerpoint teochew restaurant before heading out.
Gran wanted to go shopping but gramps was tired, so he went back with my uncle.
Tagged along with gran for a bit, until I felt I could listen to the 'superb quality' of pots no longer..
So my cousin and I left to explore the rest of Centerpoint, leaving my mom and aunt to the mercy of granny =P

Oh at the 1st floor they have this gigantic chocolate sculpture weighing 1000kg and standing at the height of 7.27m! World record O_O
And also saw some 'muscle woman' who, according to my 14 yr old cousin, was from OKTO live.
First time we walked together outside~
Talked and shared experiences =)
Haha.. he used to be so cute last time~
Still remember when I stayed over at gran's..
Then sent him to kindergarten in the morning~
Sigh~ I'm feel so old now =/

Around 4, gran got tired, so we parted.
Mom and I went to Taka while the rest left for home.
At the basement there were all these small little gifts~
Towels moulded into cakes and ice cream and stuff~
And a helluva lot more item which I won't list down =P
Mom picked up 12 of them!
Least this saves the trouble of getting individual gifts..
*** ***
I did some shopping of my own too =)
Spotted a long sleeve shirt which I liked.
White with thin black stripes spaced very closely together~
So from far, looks grey.
Kinda like Dan's short sleeved one but with less pockets and buttons..
I also went to the chocolate section at the basement to get free samples =P
HAHA~ damn kiasu can!

When shopping was done, mom and I proceeded to PS for dinner.
Whilst going down the Orchard MRT escalator I saw Ken on his way up!
Haha... this has gotta be the first time I bumped into a poly mate outside poly by coincidence..
Have I before?? Urmm... urmm.. urmm.... no.
Ok, maybe once at AMK, but definitely not in the city.

Dined at Secret Recipe and had a long chat with mom =/
Not often do we get chances to talk - I didn't especially make chances often too.
Talked about the future, and for once, I didn't seem irritated by it.
Cause the day is not too far off, where I have to start working and grow up~
When I'm young that day seemed so far away. An impossibility.
Now it's becoming a reality sooner than I expect..
Scary~

'Twilight' premieres on 12th December, and I can hardly wait!

Some stupid guy keeps calling me about a job...
Filled up a random survey on "My dreams" on Wednesday.
In just 1 night, I find out I've been short-listed to join their company (God knows which).
Turns out I can choose whether I want to join them or not!
I mean, what the f?
You've never seen my resume, nor interviewed me, and now I can choose whether or not I want to join you?
