Lying on my bed; curled up under my cozy blanket as I gazed out of the window, watching the lightning fill the dark skies; illuminating the rainy night. The breath of coldness passing through the window gap assaulted the bare skin on my face; sent shivers tingling down my spine. I closed my eyes to revel in the raindrops' melody. Its sweet symphony was the last thing I heard before I drifted off into a deep slumber.
